Common questions
Do you supply material with mill test certificates?+
Yes. The original manufacturer's test certificate (MTC), with heat number, chemistry and mechanical properties, is supplied with every consignment.
How quickly can you dispatch?+
Ex-stock items are typically dispatched within 1–3 working days of confirmed payment. Mill-rolled or special sizes follow the mill's rolling programme and can take 30–60 days.
Do you deliver outside Ahmedabad?+
Yes. We dispatch by road across Gujarat and to the rest of India through approved transporters, with the LR copy shared on dispatch. You can also collect ex-works.
Do you supply buyers outside India?+
Yes, on request. Send your country, destination port, grade and quantity in metric tonnes and we will quote on FOB, CFR or CIF terms, shipped from an Indian port and supplied with the original mill test certificate and shipping documents.
Which standards can you supply to?+
Indian (IS), American (ASTM/ASME, API), European (EN) and Japanese (JIS) grades — see each product page for the grade tables. Tell us the standard on your drawing or tender and we will confirm availability.
What are your payment terms?+
Standard terms are 100% advance against proforma invoice; credit at the company's discretion. Quotations are valid for 7 days because steel prices move with the market.
What should I send for a fast quotation?+
Product, grade (e.g. IS 2062 E250 BR, SA 516 Gr 70), thickness × width × length, quantity in MT or pieces, delivery location and when you need it. A drawing or BOQ photo on WhatsApp works too.
Are you GST registered?+
Yes. Jayesh Steel Private Limited is GST registered in Gujarat and every supply is billed on a GST tax invoice.
